2019 Christian Crosstalk | "Believers in the Son Have Everlasting Life"

The Bible says, "He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God stays on him" (John 3:36). Su Yue thinks that believing in the Lord Jesus is believing in the Son and can gain her everlasting life. When Sister Ling says her understanding is only half-complete, Su Yue is confused, and begins debating Ling …. So, what is true belief in the Son? What does "He that believes on the Son has everlasting life" refer to?

Amen thank God this Crosstalk give me more enlightenment about how we can gain eternal life in the Son, only Christ in the last days can give us the way of eternal life indeed this truth that no one can deny.
By accepting Almighty God’s work of the last days, we find the way to be purified and God brings us the way of eternal life. We have found God’s footsteps. Thank God!

❤️  how can we identify the voice of God⁉⁉

Brothers and sisters, welcome! The Lord Jesus said: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:20). It’s clear that when the Lord comes in the last days knocking at the door, only those who hear God’s voice can welcome the Lord and attend the marriage supper of the Lamb. Then, how can we identify the voice of God? You are invited to watch the following program, which will reveal the answer for you.

Why Did the Jews Yearn for the Coming of the Messiah yet Oppose Him When He Truly Came?

By Xia Wei
As we all know, the Jews were God’s chosen people, Israel was the birthplace of God’s work, the Old Testament predicted that the Messiah would lead the lives of the Israelites, and thus the Jews had eagerly yearned for the coming of the Messiah. But why was it that when the Messiah—the Lord Jesus—truly came to work, they didn’t accept Him, yet opposed Him and even crucified Him? This is what we will talk about today. May the Lord guide us.

The first reason was that the Jews relied on their imaginings and notions to understand the prophecies and delimit God’s work.

It is recorded in chapter 9, verses 6–7 in the Book of Isaiah, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given: and the government shall be on His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.
the Lord Jesus born in a manger
He must be born in a palace
The Jews’ imaginations ran wild based on this prophecy. They believed that since the Messiah would come to power, He must be born in a palace, He must be majestic, with a kingly bearing, and He would lead them to overturn the Roman regime. However, when the Lord Jesus was born, not only was He not born in a royal palace, but actually was born in a manger.
Not only did He not behave in a kingly way as they imagined, but appeared to be a very common and ordinary man. Not only did He not lead them to overturn the Roman regime, but actually taught them to be forgiving and tolerant, to love their enemies, and to forgive others seventy times seven times. The image and the work of the Lord Jesus completely overturned the Jews’ imaginings of the Messiah in their minds. In addition, in the Book of Isaiah, chapter 7, verse 14, it says: “Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” In light of this prophecy, the Jews believed that the virgin who would give birth to the Messiah must be an unmarried woman. So when they saw that Mary had a husband, they thought, “How could it be possible that ‘a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son’ is fulfilled on Mary?” Accordingly, they concluded that the Lord Jesus couldn’t possibly be the prophesied Messiah based on their own conceptions and imaginings. This was why they refused to accept the Lord Jesus’ words and work, and why they ultimately crucified Him, committing the most heinous of sins.

The second reason was that, the Jews looked up to the chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees—outwardly, they believed in God, but in substance, they followed man.

The Pharisees, chief priests, and scribes were all the leaders of the religious world that held authority, prestige and position; they appeared pious, were well-versed in the Bible, were very familiar with the law, and served God in the temple for generations. Because the Jews worshiped power and status, they thought that, since the chief priests, scribes and the Pharisees had believed in God for a long time and had read the Bible for many years, they must be able to recognize the Messiah when He came, and thereby following them would not be wrong. Thus when the blind and ignorant Pharisees relied on their own imagination and conceptions to deny that the Lord Jesus was the Messiah and even to condemn and blaspheme the Lord Jesus, the Jews followed them in doing the same. Just as when the Pharisees said that the Lord Jesus cast out devils through Beelzebub, chief of the devils, the Jews thought that their condemnations couldn’t possibly be wrong, and thus followed them to condemn Him.
Jews Yearn for the Coming of the Messiah yet Oppose Him
Lord Jesus
Even when the chief priests yelled out to nail the Lord Jesus to the cross, the Jews still blindly played along with them, as recorded in John 19:6–7, “When the chief priests therefore and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, Crucify Him, crucify Him. Pilate said to them, Take you Him, and crucify Him: for I find no fault in Him. The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God.” The Jews did not apply their discernment to what the chief priests said. When the chief priests said that Jesus should be crucified, the Jews chimed in and used the law to convict Him, following the chief priests in resisting God. And they even made the vow that the sin would be on them and their descendants, with the result that their offspring fled to countries around the world and many of them were killed.

God said: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). “But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men” (Matthew 15:9). The Jews didn’t understand the truth, nor did they seek the truth or examine whether the Lord Jesus’ work was from God or whether His words were beneficial to people, and they just blindly followed and worshiped the Pharisees and the chief priests, such that they nailed the Lord Jesus to the cross. As a result, they met with God’s curses and punishment.

The Warning to Us

What warning does the failure of the Jews give us? We all know that we are already in the last days, that the prophecies of the Lord’s return have all been fulfilled, and that it is time for the Lord to return. According to the prophecies in the Book of Revelation, God will have a lot of work to do in the last days, such as opening the scroll and seven seals, expressing the words the Holy Spirit speaks to all churches, making a group of overcomers, and so on. But only a few words about these works are mentioned in the Book of Revelation and how God will accomplish these works is not recorded in detail. Under these circumstances, when the work of God’s return in the last days seems at odds with our notions and imaginings, we must not compare the literal meaning of the prophecies in the Bible with what God does, or rely on our conceptions and imaginings to delimit His work, or refuse to seek and study the returned Lord’s work, and even less can we blindly obey man or follow man, like the Jewish people. But instead, we should be wise virgins who long for and seek the truth, examine God’s new work in the last days and see whether it really is from God. Only in this way will we have the chance to welcome the Lord and gain His salvation in the last days.
The Lord Jesus said: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27). “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you: For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened” (Matthew 7:7–8). I believe that when the Lord Jesus returns to perform His work in the last days, as long as we seek the truth and focus on hearing His voice, we will attain His salvation. Amen!

I Have Come to Know How to Distinguish Between the True Christ and False Christs

Feb 27, 201843

Chuanyang, United States
In 2010, the winter in the United States made me feel very cold. In addition to the bitter cold from the combination of wind and snow, what was even more serious was that my heart had been invaded and attacked by a “cold wave.” For those of us in the interior decorating business, winter is the hardest time of the year, because once winter starts there is very little work. We even face losing our jobs. This year was my first year in the United States, I was fresh off the boat, and I felt that everything was unfamiliar to me. Renting an apartment, finding a job, nothing was easy, and my days were full of hardships. It got to the point to where I was borrowing money to rent an apartment. Being faced with this kind of predicament put me in a bout of sadness, and I felt like the days were really hard to bear. At night I faced the ice-cold wall, with so much pain in me that all I wanted to do was cry. One day, as I walked around listlessly in my state of sadness someone who was spreading the gospel of the Lord Jesus handed out a card to me, and said: “The Lord Jesus loves you, brother, come to our church and listen to the Lord’s gospel!” I thought to myself: I guess there’s nothing I have to do right now, so there’s no harm in me going to listen to this, I might as well, it’s something to do. So like that, I stepped into the church. I heard the pastor read aloud the Lord Jesus saying: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (Jhn 3:16). When I heard this sentence I felt deeply moved by the Lord’s love. I cannot clearly explain the kind of feeling it was, but I could feel that the Lord’s love was real, and that it surpassed the love of the entire secular world. My grief-laden heart felt greatly consoled. As a result, I decided to dedicate myself to putting trust in the Lord Jesus. Afterward I started enthusiastically participating in meetings every Sunday, and because of my enthusiastic pursuit I quickly became a co-worker in the church.
Christian church, Preach Gospel, serve God,
Pictures of the Church of Almighty God
After serving in the church for two years, I felt more and more like the Lord was not with me. I didn’t feel enlightened when reading the Bible, I didn’t feel moved through prayer, and I didn’t feel like I was being provided with anything through meetings. In addition, I saw how everyone in the church lived in a condition where they sinned in the day only to confess in the evening, and how everyone, whether pastors, elders or ordinary believers, was bound by sin, having jealous disputes, creating factions, fighting over fame and profit, and clinging to worldly things. All kinds of unlawful behaviors were becoming more and more apparent. I also saw that people in society were becoming more depraved with each passing day, they were becoming more and more evil and more and more selfish, with disasters springing up all over the world—earthquakes, famines and epidemics were constantly breaking out. All kinds of signs made it clear that the last days were fast approaching, and that the Lord Jesus would soon return. The pastors and elders often talked about these Bible verses to us: “Then if any man shall say to you, See, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Mat 24:23-24). And in earnest, they talked about how in the last days false Christs would appear, they told us that by all means we must not listen to strangers preach, and they even said that besides those in our church, the believers in the other denominations and sects were all wrong, that we must be sure to carefully distinguish this so as not to allow ourselves to be deceived and walk down the wrong path. Since I often heard the pastors preach in this way I told myself: I cannot deviate from the path in this crucial moment of the Lord’s imminent arrival, I must be sure to keep my faith in the Lord.
One day in mid-September, 2016, I received an unexpected phone call from Sister Zhu. Sister Zhu was a long-time believer and an active pursuer of the truth in our church, and we had always been on good terms, so I was very happy to get a phone call from her. I listened as Sister Zhu spoke to me excitedly: “Brother, I have some good news to tell you, the Lord Jesus has returned, He is Almighty God! This time God has been incarnated to carry out the work of judging man, cleansing man and saving man …” I was somewhat surprised to hear these words, and I thought to myself: “Has Sister Zhu held on to the way of the Lord? Has she converted to another religion? How could she be so foolish? Haven’t the pastors and elders repeatedly emphasized that false Christs will emerge in the last days? Why hasn’t she listened? If we believe in the wrong thing in this crucial moment when the Lord is soon to come, then won’t we have practiced our faith in vain for these past many years?” As I thought about this I nervously asked Sister Zhu: “Sister, in the Bible it says that in the last days there will be false …” but without waiting for me to finish speaking, Sister Zhu cut in: “Brother, the Lord Jesus warned us to ‘Judge not,’ and we must not pass judgment as we please, so as not to be condemned by God.” The sister’s warning made me think of these words of the Lord: “Judge not, and you shall not be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned” (Luk 6:37). I didn’t dare pass judgment anymore. However, facing such a big event as the return of the Lord, Sister Zhu and I each had our own opinions, and we both wanted to persuade the other, so we took turns trying to make our points, but in the end neither of us could persuade the other.
For over a month after this Sister Zhu gave me repeated phone calls to spread the gospel of the kingdom of Almighty God, but I always refused to accept it, and even kept urging her to come back and continue believing in the Lord. Later, I saw that she was very firm in her belief in Almighty God, that she would not waver in the least in her faith, so I had to let it go, and stopped trying to persuade her. I said: “From now on, I’ll still believe in my Lord Jesus and you can believe in your Almighty God, and we will not get in each other’s way!” After that, whenever Sister Zhu gave me a phone call giving me testimony of God’s work in the last days, I would look for an excuse to avoid her. I kept on refusing to accept the work of God in the last days, but this did not stop her from spreading the gospel to me.
One morning in November shortly after 5 am, before daylight had even broken, someone rang the doorbell at my home. I opened the door and saw Sister Zhu, and with her were a brother and a sister. When I saw Sister Zhu I felt conflicted. I thought to myself: “Have I not explained this to you? How could you still travel such a far distance to come to my home? Regardless of what you say I’m not going to believe in it.” In spite of our many years of getting to know each other as members of the church, I said some unpleasant words to them and didn’t let them come in. When Sister Zhu saw that I was so determined in my approach, a downcast look showed on her face and in a voice choked with emotion she said to me: “Brother, the reason I have come to spread the gospel of the kingdom to you is because I have been moved by the Holy Spirit. If it weren’t for God’s love, I wouldn’t have been able to put my feelings aside and spread the gospel to you time and again. Brother, the Lord Jesus really has returned. Right now the Holy Spirit is working on those who have received God’s new work. If it were not for the work of the Holy Spirit, how could anyone have this much faith and willpower to come to spread the gospel to you? You too have seen the current situation of our church, our brothers and sisters all live bound by sin, lacking the strength to break free. God has come this time to express words to judge man, and to carry out the work of ridding us of sin and cleansing us. If we miss God’s work in the last days we will not have another opportunity to attain God’s salvation.” The sister’s sincere words moved me and somewhat softened my heart. In particular, when she was talking about the church’s situation, the facts I had seen within the churches came to my mind one after another: In the first church I served at, the pastors said one thing and did another, and whoever contributed the most money was welcomed by these pastors with smiling faces, who would concern themselves with how they were doing, but anyone who didn’t contribute very much money was ignored and looked down upon by them. I really couldn’t bear to see this happen, so I went to the second church. In this church I saw the co-workers excluding one another, getting into jealous disputes, and creating factions, and they were no different from people in the secular world. This made me feel disappointed. At first I wanted to move to yet another church, but a brother told me that he had already changed many churches, and that no matter where he went it was always the same desolation and darkness…. As I thought about this I also thought of the various behaviors I have exhibited while living in sin, which made me somewhat waver in my heart: Could it be that the Lord Jesus truly has returned in the flesh to carry out the work of eradicating sin? At this time Sister Zhu continued speaking: “As far as whether or not Almighty God is the returned Lord, all you need to do to know this is read the word of Almighty God. At the time that the Lord Jesus came to carry out His work, His disciples followed Him because they recognized through His word and His work that He was the coming Messiah. Today, in determining whether or not Almighty God is the Lord Jesus appearing to carry out His work, we must also determine this through the work and the word of Almighty God. If, after you read all of Almighty God’s words, you still believe that He isn’t the returned Lord then I will not force anything upon you, and I will stop spreading the gospel to you, because God has never forced anyone to receive His gospel.”
seek God, hearing God's voice, seek the truth
Pictures of the Church of Almighty God
After hearing Sister Zhu say this I hesitated for a moment, and thought to myself: I might as well read them and see which truths spoken in the words of Almighty God have made Sister Zhu so firmly believe in this. Thereupon, I opened the door and let Sister Zhu and the rest of them into my home. Sister Zhu introduced the others, and they were Sister Zhang Qing and Brother Liu Kaiming from The Church of Almighty God. Sister Zhu said: “Brother Chuanyang, since I accepted the last-days work of Almighty God, it has been several months. I have gone to The Church of Almighty God to check it out for myself. I have participated in their church life. Through personal experiences and through carefully investigating it, I have seen that The Church of Almighty God really is a church that has the work of the Holy Spirit, it is a genuine church, and it absolutely comes from God. We have been members of the church together for years, and as a co-worker in the church you ought to know better than I do about what’s going on within it now. The Holy Spirit stopped working in our church long ago, and this is a fact that everyone has accepted. The pastors cannot preach sermons that supply us with life, they only lecture on how to attack and be on guard against other Churches, telling us that we must keep the Lord’s name, that we will be saved if we do not leave the church, but really there is no basis in the word of the Lord for them to be acting in this way. They are doing so all in order to protect their status and keep their jobs, and they are not doing it for our lives. If they truly felt responsible for our lives then they ought to take the initiative in taking us in search of a church where the Holy Spirit is at work, rather than have us remain obstinately in a religious church where the Holy Spirit stopped working long ago, only to await our deaths by starvation or exhaustion.” After hearing this I thought to myself: “Sister Zhu’s words really do speak of what’s going on, the church today really does not have the work of the Holy Spirit, everything that the pastors and elders do really is not in consideration of the lives of the believers, and as I’ve stuck with this church over the years I’ve felt more and more like the Lord is not with us. I long ago felt withered and dark in my spirit, with nowhere to go.” Hearing her speak in this reasonable and well-grounded way, I felt I could no longer reject their visitation.
At this time, Brother Liu who had come with her said, “Brother, the reason that the religious world is this desolate is because God has come to carry out new work, and the work of the Holy Spirit has progressed forward, but they have not caught up with the new work that God is doing. An even greater reason for this is that the pastors and elders have not obeyed the Lord’s commandments or put the Lord’s words into practice, and instead, they have led believers to follow the evil trends of the world, and even resist and condemn the new work of God. It’s just like when the Lord Jesus came to carry out His work, the temple had been turned into a place where cattle, sheep and doves were sold and money was exchanged. Priests violated laws and offered animals with blemishes as sacrifices to deceive God, the Pharisees coveted wealth and enjoyed the spoils of their position, and other sins were committed. Even those who served God lived in sin, without the least bit of reverence for God in their hearts. This was enough to show that the Holy Spirit no longer worked in the temple, the work of the Holy Spirit had moved onward, and God’s work in the Age of Law had come to an end. The Lord Jesus had come to carry out the work of redemption on the foundation of the work of the Age of Law, and the Holy Spirit no longer worked in those who kept the name of Jehovah God and clung obstinately to the laws, and instead, the Holy Spirit had transferred His work to those who accepted the new work of the Lord Jesus. Since the presence of God was no longer in the temple, it became more and more desolate, until in the end it became a den of thieves. But the Lord Jesus’ disciples received the Lord’s salvation, they put into practice the Lord’s teachings, they had faith and strength to follow the Lord, they forsook their homes and abandoned their jobs in order to bear witness to and spread the Lord’s gospel, and they did not fear persecution and adversity. Wasn’t all of this the effect achieved in them by the work of the Holy Spirit? In the same way, today the return of the Lord signifies that the old age has come to an end and a new age has begun. The Holy Spirit has long ago stopped working in the churches of the Age of Grace; rather He has begun to work on those who have accepted God’s new work. This is fulfilling the prophecy in the Bible: ‘And also I have withheld the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain on one city, and caused it not to rain on another city: one piece was rained on, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered’ (Amo 4:7). ‘Behold, the days come … that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of Jehovah’ (Amo 8:11). Almighty God also says: ‘God will accomplish this fact: He will make all people throughout the universe come before Him, and worship the God on earth, and His work in other places will cease, and people will be forced to seek the true way. It will be like Joseph: Everyone came to him for food, and bowed down to him, for he had things to eat. In order to avoid famine people will be forced to seek the true way. The entire religious community is suffering severe famine, and only the God of today is the wellspring of living water, possessed of the ever-flowing wellspring provided for the enjoyment of man, and people will come and depend on Him’ (‘The Millennial Kingdom Has Arrived’ in The Word Appears in the Flesh). ‘All of God’s work in the entire universe has focused on this group of people. He has devoted all His efforts to you and sacrificed all for you; He has reclaimed and given to you all the work of the Spirit throughout the universe. That is why I say, you are the fortunate. Moreover, He has shifted His glory from Israel, His chosen people, to you, in order to make the purpose of His plan fully manifest through you group of people. Therefore, you are those who will receive the inheritance of God, and even more the heirs of God’s glory’ (‘Is the Work of God So Simple as Man Imagines?’ in The Word Appears in the Flesh). ‘Because those in religion are incapable of accepting God’s new work, and only hold to the old work of the past, thus God has forsaken these people, and does His new work on the people who accept this new work. These are people who cooperate in His new work, and only in this way can His management be accomplished’ (‘God’s Work and Man’s Practice’ in The Word Appears in the Flesh). From these words of God we can see that the Holy Spirit has stopped working in the churches of the Age of Grace, so no matter how hard people try or what kind of man-made methods they use to revive the churches, it is of no use. The Catholic Church and the Protestant denominations are all the same, the spirits of their believers are parched and starved, their faith and their love are gradually growing cold, they are unable to hold on to the teachings of the Lord, and many of them are following the evil trends of the world, pursuing wealth and coveting worldly things. The churches have become places of desolation. On the other hand, the brothers and sisters in The Church of Almighty God are people who have walked away from different denominations and sects and who come from different professions to accept the work of God in the last days. They are the wise virgins who, upon hearing the voice of God, have returned before His throne. They are receiving the supply of the living water of life that flows out of the throne of God, they are being shepherded and led by God Himself, and they are spreading and bearing witness to the gospel of the kingdom of God with one accord. They endure being ridiculed and slandered by the world, they endure the abuse and condemnation from the leaders of various denominations and sects, they are even beaten, and they endure being arrested, having their homes searched and their possessions confiscated, and being cruelly tortured and imprisoned by the CCP government. Still, they have faith, they have strength, they have love, and they are tenacious and unyielding as they follow Almighty God and bear witness to God’s work in the last days. It isn’t by their own strength that they are able to do so. These are all effects achieved through the work of the Holy Spirit! In addition, God’s will is to be sought for in His sending of a famine into the religious world, for His purpose in doing so is to compel those who truly believe in God and who thirst for the truth to break away from their religions, to break away from the deception and control of the antichrists in their religions, and to walk away from their religions and seek God’s footsteps and God’s appearance, accept God’s work of judgment in the last days, and be cleansed and perfected by God, while simultaneously leaving those false believers in their religions and exposing and eliminating them, who seek bread to satisfy hunger and who do not believe in God with a true heart and instead adore men and follow men. In this way people will be classified according to their kinds. Is this not the wisdom and almightiness of God?”
bought and sold in the temple
Pictures of the Church of Almighty God
Listening to God’s words and this brother’s fellowship made me feel this was very real, and that it completely conformed to the truth. It felt like I had awoken from a dream, and I realized the source of the desolation of the various churches. Before I had only known that the Lord Jesus drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves, saying that they had turned the temple into a den of thieves, but I had not known the reason that led to the temple being turned into a den of thieves. Only then did I know that it was because God was carrying out new work, and the work of the Holy Spirit had moved onward, which was being carried out on those who had accepted God’s new work, and therefore those who did not follow God’s new work lost the work of the Holy Spirit and lost reverence for God in their hearts, so that they did things that broke the law in the temple, turning it into a den of thieves. Knowing that this is what happened, I see that the reason today’s churches are desolate is the exact same as with the temple at that time! In this moment I finally saw how insensitive I had been. Although I had seen that from the pastors and elders to the ordinary believers all had been bound by sin, and that the church was brimming with lawlessness and iniquity, I still had not sought God’s will, nor had I sought the work of the Holy Spirit. I also had not paid any attention to listening to God’s voice, and as a result, I had been eliminated by the work of the Holy Spirit without knowing that at all. I realized that I needed to carefully read the word of Almighty God. On that day, before Sister Zhu and the rest of them left they scheduled a time to come back and fellowship with me again, and they also left me with a copy of The Scroll Opened by the Lamb, which I was very happy to receive.

Eastern Lightning, the Church of Almighty God, God’s words,
the Word of Almighty God

Studying Eastern Lightning and Welcoming the Return of the Lord (Part 2)
By Jianchi, Taiwan

Why has God Become Flesh to Perform His Work in the Last Days? The brother went on, saying, “So then, why does the Lord have to appear and work in the flesh when He returns in the last days, and not appear and work directly in the resurrected spiritual body? In the Age of Grace, the Lord Jesus performed the work of redemption. Though our sins have been forgiven, our sinful nature remains deeply rooted within us, we are filled with such satanic dispositions as arrogance and conceit, selfishness and meanness and wickedness and deceitfulness, and we are still capable of involuntarily sinning and resisting God. If this carries on, then we will never be made clean, and we will be simply unworthy to enter into the heavenly kingdom. God is the Lord of creation and He is perfectly aware of the extent to which we have been corrupted by Satan. More than this, He knows what kind of work we need in order to thoroughly cast off the bonds of our sinful nature. The Lord Jesus therefore prophesied long ago: ‘I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come’ (John 16:12–13). ‘For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment to the Son’ (John 5:22). ‘And has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of man’ (John 5:27). The Lord Jesus tells us clearly that, when He returns in the last days, He shall speak His words and perform the work of judgment in order to change and cleanse our sinful nature, enable us to understand all truths and, from within these truths, find the path to change our dispositions until we are ultimately able to thoroughly cast off the bonds of sin and achieve purification. Because God will speak His words in the last days to judge and cleanse our corrupt dispositions, only by God becoming flesh can this work achieve the best results. Therefore, God does not perform His work in a spiritual body in the last days, but instead must become flesh to do it.”
After hearing this, I said, “Now I understood that God will speak His words in the last days to judge and cleanse our sinful nature. This is exactly what we need. But I am still confused about one thing: After His resurrection, the Lord Jesus’ spiritual body appeared to His disciples for 40 days. Could not the Lord Jesus’ spiritual body after His resurrection also express the truth and perform the work of judging and purifying man?”
The brother continued his fellowship, saying, “We believe that the Lord Jesus’ spiritual body after His resurrection could also express the truth and perform the work of judging and purifying man, but have we ever considered whether or not the spiritual body of the Lord Jesus after His resurrection from death is able to have normal contact with man and carry out work in a practical manner? As we all know, the Lord Jesus’ spiritual body after He was resurrected from the dead appeared on the surface to be exactly the same as the flesh of Jesus had appeared before. His resurrected spiritual body, however, was not subject to any limitation of the material world, of geography or of space; He was able to pass through walls, He could appear to man at will and then disappear at will, much to the astonishment of those who witnessed it. For example, after the Lord Jesus was resurrected, though all doors were closed, He was able to suddenly appear standing in the midst of His disciples to speak to them, and they were both amazed and afraid, feeling that the Lord Jesus had become shrouded in mystery and unapproachable. If the Lord Jesus were to return in this kind of spiritual body to perform the work of judgment, then not only would people be afraid to draw near Him, but the world would be thrown into chaos, and then God’s work of judgment in the last days would be unable to proceed properly. Back then, the Lord Jesus was resurrected from the dead and appeared to man for 40 days. He ate with them and spoke with them, and He allowed Thomas to touch His wounds that had been caused by the nails. This was all done to verify that the Lord truly had returned from the dead and so that people could all accept and confirm from the bottom of their hearts that the Lord Jesus was the incarnated Christ, that He was God Himself, and thereby strengthen their faith. In the last days, however, God performs the work of judgment and purification—He exposes the goats, the sheep, the wheat and the tares. If He were to work in the spiritual body of the resurrected Lord Jesus, everyone would bow down trembling in great fear to worship God, no one would dare reveal any corruption, no one would have any conceptions about God or any rebelliousness or resistance to God, and all would acknowledge that He is God. In that case, there would be no way to expose people and no way to separate the good from the wicked. In the last days, God expresses the truth to judge and purify man, and only by God incarnate performing this kind of work can optimum results be achieved. Because God incarnate possesses normal humanity, man treats Christ as an ordinary person, so much so that they may even have no respect for Christ, and will reveal all manner of conceptions, rebelliousness and resistance to Christ. It is in this way that God judges and exposes man according to the truth of mankind’s corruption and, when faced with the facts, man can only become wholly and utterly convinced and dutifully accept the judgment and chastisement of God’s words. Otherwise, though God may expose mankind’s rebelliousness and corruption, man would only acknowledge them verbally at most, we would not accept them in our hearts and our corrupt dispositions would remain rooted within us. In that case, the results of the work of judging and purifying man would not be achieved. Therefore, God’s work of judgment in the last days must be done by God incarnating and performing the work in a body which possesses normal humanity in order for the optimum results to be achieved. If God worked in a spiritual body, then people would find it hard to draw close to Him and it would not facilitate the work of exposing man’s corruption. This is a fact we must understand. Let’s read several more passages of God’s words and then it’ll be a lot clearer. Sister Jianchi, why don’t you read?”

I nodded happily, and read: “The reason why He becomes flesh is because the flesh can also possess authority, and He is capable of carrying out work in a practical manner among mankind, in such a way that it is visible and tangible to man. This work is much more realistic than the work done directly by the Spirit of God, who possesses all authority, and its results are also apparent. This is because God’s incarnate flesh can speak and work in a practical way. The outward form of His flesh holds no authority, and can be approached by man, whereas His substance does carry authority, but His authority is visible to none. When He speaks and works, man is unable to detect the existence of His authority; this facilitates Him in doing work of a practical nature. … If God did not become flesh, He would remain the Spirit who is both invisible and intangible to man. Man being a creature of flesh, he and God belong to two different worlds and are endowed with different natures. The Spirit of God is incompatible with man, who is of flesh, and there is simply no way of establishing relations between them, not to mention that man is incapable of turning into a spirit. This being so, the Spirit of God must become a created being in order to do His original work. God can both ascend to the highest place and humble Himself to become a human creature, doing work among men and living in their midst, but man cannot ascend to the highest place and become a spirit, and even less can he descend to the lowest place. This is why God must become flesh to carry out His work” (“The Mystery of the Incarnation (4)” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).
Because the one who is judged is man, man who is of the flesh and has been corrupted, and it is not the spirit of Satan that is judged directly, the work of judgment is not carried out in the spiritual world, but among man. No one is more suitable, and qualified, than God in the flesh for the work of judging the corruption of man’s flesh. If judgment were carried out directly by the Spirit of God, then it would not be all-embracing. Furthermore, such work would be difficult for man to accept, for the Spirit is unable to come face-to-face with man, and because of this, the effects would not be immediate, much less would man be able to behold the unoffendable disposition of God more clearly. Satan can only be fully defeated if God in the flesh judges the corruption of mankind. … If this work were done by the Spirit of God, then it would not be victory over Satan. The Spirit is inherently more exalted than mortal beings, and the Spirit of God is inherently holy, and triumphant over the flesh. If the Spirit did this work directly, He would not be able to judge all of man’s disobedience, and could not reveal all of man’s unrighteousness. For the work of judgment is also carried out through man’s conceptions of God, and man has never had any conceptions of the Spirit, and so the Spirit is incapable of better revealing the unrighteousness of man, much less of completely disclosing such unrighteousness. The incarnate God is the enemy of all those who do not know Him. Through judging man’s conceptions and opposition to Him, He discloses all the disobedience of mankind. The effects of His work in the flesh are more apparent than those of the work of the Spirit. And so, the judgment of all mankind is not carried out directly by the Spirit, but is the work of the incarnate God” (“Corrupt Mankind Is More in Need of the Salvation of God Become Flesh” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).
“Only through becoming flesh can He personally deliver His words into the ears of each and every human being, so that all who have ears may hear His words and receive His work of judgment by the word. Only this is the result achieved by His word, rather than the Spirit becoming manifest to frighten man into submission. It is only through this practical and yet extraordinary work that the old disposition of man, hidden deep within for many years, can be fully exposed, so that man may recognize it and have it changed. These things are all the practical work of God incarnate, in which, speaking and executing judgment in a practical manner, He achieves the results of judgment upon man by the word. This is the authority of God incarnate and the significance of God’s incarnation” (“The Mystery of the Incarnation (4)” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).
The brother continued with his fellowship, saying, “The words of Almighty God clearly explain why God incarnates in the last days to perform His work, as well as explaining the necessity of the incarnation. God incarnate can not only sympathize with the weaknesses of man, but He can also express the truth using human language; He can also tell man His will, His requirements and His attitude toward man, thus allowing us to better understand His will. At the same time, God exposes and dissects the truth of our corruption at the hands of Satan as well as the essence of our God-resisting nature, and He also shows us the path to changing our dispositions. This is much more beneficial to us understanding the truth, knowing God and to casting off our corrupt dispositions and achieving purification. When the Lord Jesus incarnated to perform His work, for example, people could see and touch Him, and they no longer felt that God was so distant from them and so unreachable, and therefore man’s relationship with God became closer and closer. Furthermore, when we don’t understand God’s will, God expresses His words to tell us clearly the path we should take and to make us understand correctly His intentions, so that we do not need to grope blindly or make guesses. As recorded in Matthew 18:21–22, Peter asked the Lord Jesus, ‘Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?’ Jesus said to him, ‘I say not to you, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.’ It can be seen that God appearing and working in the flesh is much more beneficial to our understanding of His will and requirements than if God worked in the spiritual body, and it is much more beneficial to us being purified and attaining God’s true salvation.
“Therefore, if God wants to cleanse us of our satanic corrupt dispositions and save us utterly from the domain of Satan, the best way to do this is to have real contact with us, to express the truth face to face with us and judge and reveal our rebelliousness and corruption. In this way, we are better able to understand the truth. At the same time, we are then able to know God’s righteous disposition that brooks no offense, as well as His almightiness and wisdom, thus enabling us to generate a God-fearing heart, to truly repent to God and to achieve true obedience to God. Only by doing this can we gradually be purified and attain God’s true salvation. These kinds of results can only be achieved by God becoming flesh to perform His work, and they simply cannot be achieved by the work of the spiritual body. This is the reason why God must appear and perform His work in the flesh in the last days.”

My Conceptions Vanish and I Joyfully Welcome the Lord’s Return

Through reading Almighty God’s words and listening to the brother’s fellowship, I came to understand that the Lord appearing and working in the flesh when He returns is entirely what is needed by us as corrupt mankind, and it is done to better cleanse and save us. Although our sins have been forgiven by the Lord, our sinful nature certainly remains; we are still frequently able to commit sins and resist the Lord involuntarily, and we are simply unworthy to see the Lord’s face. Only by God incarnate speaking His words and exposing our corrupt dispositions can we come to know ourselves, cast off our sinful nature and be cleansed, and attain true salvation and enter into the heavenly kingdom. God becoming flesh to speak His words and perform His work of judgment is so very necessary! What’s more, I also saw that God’s love for man is earnest and sincere, and His coming down to earth from heaven and becoming flesh to perform His work is all done the better to save us. Yet I had always clung to the ideas and interpretations of my local church, believing that the Lord Jesus would appear to all nations in the resurrected spiritual body when He returns and that He could not possibly appear and work in the flesh. Even when I heard people testifying that the Lord Jesus had returned and had come again in the flesh to express the truth and perform the work of judgment, I still didn’t seek or investigate it—I had been so arrogant! Now that I was hearing the words expressed by Almighty God, my heart had become filled with light, and I felt that, by letting go of my conceptions and imaginings, and by harboring a humble, seeking heart, I would truly be able to obtain the work and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Almighty God’s words had conquered me and remedied my conceptions, and I accepted God’s work of the last days with joy.
Afterward, I often gathered with my brothers and sisters to fellowship about Almighty God’s words. No matter what difficulty I came across or what conception or idea arose within me, I would always pray to Almighty God and look for the path within Almighty God’s words. I would also seek with my brothers and sisters, and they would fellowship patiently with me about God’s words, and all my many questions were resolved. The more I read the words expressed by Almighty God, the more I discovered that God’s words carried authority and power—they are the expressions of the disposition of God, they are the utterances of the Holy Spirit, they are the voice of God, and they have the power to resolve all our confusion and problems.
Thanks be to God for saving me. Through the brothers and sisters patiently fellowshiping about Almighty God’s words with me time and time again, God had enabled me to hear His voice and had raised me up before His throne. This experience gave me a deep appreciation that, only by being wise virgins and taking the initiative to seek, and by not clinging to our own conceptions, can we see the appearance of God and attain His salvation, just as the Lord Jesus said, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7).
I Perceive the Difficulty of God’s Work and See the Essence of the Pastors and Elders

Later, I began to preach the gospel and bear witness to God’s work in the last days along with my brothers and sisters. As I preached the gospel, I came across many people who refused to investigate the true way because they had been obstructed by the pastors and elders and had been deceived by their lies, so much so that they even went along with the pastors and elders to condemn and forsake God’s work in the last days. This allowed me to perceive the difficulty of the work of God incarnate even more. In order to save mankind—we who have been corrupted so deeply—He endures our slander and rejection and just carries on doing His work in complete obscurity, never abandoning His salvation for us. At the same time, I also saw the God-resisting, truth-hating essence of the pastors and elders in the religious world. In their approach to the matter of the Lord’s return, they do not have a God-fearing heart, nor any desire to seek the truth. They can see clearly that the words expressed by Almighty God carry authority and power, and yet they continue to cling stubbornly to the fallacious idea that “Anyone who does not come in the resurrected spiritual body to raise us up into heaven is not the returned Lord Jesus, and anyone who testifies that the Lord has returned in the flesh is false,” and so they do all they can to resist and condemn the appearance and the work of Almighty God and fabricate all sorts of rumors to vilify, condemn and blaspheme God’s work in the last days. They do this in an attempt to hoodwink and deceive the faithful and to make them join the pastors and elders in their rejection of God’s work in the last days, and thereby lose God’s salvation of the last days. The pastors and elders of the religious world follow the Lord Jesus in name only, and they frantically condemn and resist Almighty God, and how is that any different from when the Pharisees kept the name of Messiah, and resisted and condemned the Lord Jesus? They believe only in a vague God in heaven, and yet they deny, resist and condemn Christ incarnate—does this not precisely make them antichrists who deny and resist Christ? The Bible says, “And as you have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time” (1 John 2:18). “For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist” (2 John 1:7). All who refuse to acknowledge God incarnate are antichrists, as are all who condemn and resist Christ. The Jewish chief priests, scribes and Pharisees were antichrists who were exposed by the work of the Lord Jesus. Now in the last days, the leaders of the religious world are the antichrists who are exposed by the work of Almighty God—Christ of the last days. All the truths expressed by Almighty God not only expose both the wise virgins and the foolish virgins, but they also totally expose all manner of antichrists and unbelievers. Only now do I see that God is so wise, and God incarnate’s work is so good at exposing people. After coming to this understanding, I have become even more determined to be considerate toward God’s will, and to bring before God those brothers and sisters who sincerely look forward to the Lord’s coming, so that I may repay God’s love and bring comfort to His heart.

Why Did the Lord Jesus Say He Is the Lord of the Sabbath?

By Li Qing, China

Early one morning, as I was practicing my spiritual devotions, I saw this written in the Bible: “At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungered, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat. But when the Pharisees saw it, they said to him, Behold, your disciples do that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath day. But he said to them…. But I say to you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. But if you had known what this means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the guiltless. For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day” (Matthew 12:1–3, 6–8).

After reading this passage, I fell into deep thought: “In the Age of Law, Jehovah instructed the common people to keep the Sabbath. On the Sabbath day, the common people were to stop all work; if they did not stop work on that day, then that would be a sin, and they would have to be dealt with. When the Lord Jesus came to perform His work, He no longer kept the Sabbath day, but instead He led the disciples to various places to preach the gospel and to work. Why was this? What warning does the Lord Jesus doing this hold for us?” I pondered this for a long time, but still I didn’t understand.

About Lord Jesus
Several days later, I heard that Co-worker Xue had returned from a trip to hear sermons, and so I went to visit her at her home. She cheerfully shared with me what she had gained from listening to sermons and she took out a book. She said the book revealed many truths and mysteries that had never before been heard. She said that she’d read much of the book, that the more she read it, the more light filled her heart, and that she had come to understand many truths which she had not previously understood. After listening to Co-worker Xue, I kept thanking God’s preparations with all my heart, and I couldn’t stop myself from telling her about what had been perplexing me over the past few days. Smiling, she said to me, “Thank the Lord. This book speaks very clearly about the issue of why the Lord Jesus worked on the Sabbath day. Let’s look at it together.” As she said this, she opened the book and let me read. I read: “When the Lord Jesus came, He used His practical actions to communicate to people: God had departed the Age of Law and had begun new work, and this new work did not require observation of the Sabbath; when God came out from the confines of the Sabbath day, this was just a foretaste of His new work, and His truly great work was continuing to play out. When the Lord Jesus began His work, He had already left behind the shackles of the Age of Law, and had broken through the regulations and principles from that age. In Him, there was no trace of anything related to the law; He had cast it off entirely and no longer observed it, and He no longer required mankind to observe it. So here you see that the Lord Jesus went through the corn fields on the Sabbath; the Lord did not rest, but was outside working. This action of His was a shock to people’s conceptions and communicated to them that He no longer lived under the law, and that He had left the confines of the Sabbath and appeared in front of mankind and in their midst in a new image, with a new way of working. This action of His told people that He had brought with Him new work that began with going out from the law and going out of the Sabbath. When God carried out His new work, He no longer clung to the past, and He was no longer concerned about the regulations of the Age of Law. Neither was He affected by His work in the previous age, but He worked as usual on the Sabbath and when His disciples were hungry, they could pick ears of corn to eat. This was all very normal in God’s eyes. God could have a new beginning for much of the work that He wants to do and the things that He wants to say. Once He has a new start, He neither mentions His previous work again nor continues it. For God has His principles in His work. When He wants to begin new work, it is when He wants to bring mankind into a new stage of His work, and when His work has entered a higher phase. If people continue to act according to the old sayings or regulations or continue to hold fast to them, He will not remember or praise this. This is because He has already brought new work, and has entered a new phase of His work. When He initiates new work, He appears to mankind with a completely new image, from a completely new angle, and in a completely new way so that people can see different aspects of His disposition and what He has and is. This is one of His goals in His new work. God does not hold on to the old or take the beaten path; when He works and speaks it’s not as prohibitive as people imagine. In God, all is free and liberated, and there is no prohibitiveness, no constraints—what He brings to mankind is all freedom and liberation. He is a living God, a God who genuinely, truly exists. He is not a puppet or a clay sculpture, and He is totally different from the idols that people enshrine and worship. He is living and vibrant and what His words and work bring to humans is all life and light, all freedom and liberation, because He holds the truth, the life, and the way—He is not constrained by anything in any of His work. … Thus, the Lord Jesus could openly go out and work on the Sabbath because in His heart there were no rules, and there was no knowledge or doctrine that originated from mankind. What He had was God’s new work and His way, and His work was the way to free mankind, to release them, to allow them to exist in the light, and to allow them to live” (“God’s Work, God’s Disposition, and God Himself III”).

I understood a little after reading this passage, and I said to Co-worker Xue: “So when the Lord Jesus came to perform His work, He didn’t keep the Sabbath day, but He led His disciples to various places to preach the gospel and to work, and He did this to tell the people of that time that God had left the laws behind and was now doing a new work. He wanted to lead people into the new age. It seems that God’s will is behind every single thing God does!”

Eastern Lightning, the Church of Almighty God, Lord Jesus,
About Lord Jesus
Co-worker Xue said to me, “Yes, this passage states very clearly why the Lord Jesus worked on the Sabbath day. When God works, He does not cling to old ways of doing things and He does not travel down old roads. God always does newer and higher work according to the needs of corrupt mankind. When He does a new work, God no longer holds to previous work, and if people hold to previous practices then they are clinging to rules. Only by giving up old rules and practices and closely following the footsteps of God’s work can people attain His salvation. In the Age of Law, for example, through Moses, God proclaimed the laws and commandments to guide mankind’s life on earth, and He required that man observe the laws and commandments and that they must keep the Sabbath day. This was because the people at that time didn’t know how to conduct their lives, and they knew nothing about what worshiping God was, about how to worship God or when to work, and so on. God didn’t wish to see mankind busying themselves all day long, working from the break of day and then resting at sundown, living only for the sake of food, clothing and shelter and raising their families. And so, He proclaimed His laws and commandments for man to observe, and He prepared the Sabbath day for man, requiring that they work six days, and then stop all work on the seventh day in order to come before God and worship Him. But at the end of the Age of Law, mankind was becoming more and more corrupted by Satan and, even though they appeared to keep the Sabbath day and they appeared to worship and praise God on the Sabbath, they no longer had any true worship of God in their hearts. Even though they kept the Sabbath day, it was still just a kind of rule or ritual, without any meaning whatsoever. Therefore, when the Lord Jesus came to perform His work, He expressed the way of repentance in light of man’s needs and He no longer enjoined people to keep the rules and practices of the Sabbath day. Instead, He led people to leave behind the laws and the Sabbath day, and He proposed new requirements for man: To worship God in spirit and in truth. In this way, people were able to have a newer, higher path of practice and, only by letting go of previous rules and practices and practicing in accordance with God’s requirements could they enjoy the peace and joy bestowed by the Lord and live under God’s care and protection. From the outside, it looked as though the Lord Jesus was abandoning the laws by no longer keeping the Sabbath day, but in essence He was fulfilling the laws, and was allowing people to move on from rules and rituals to worshiping God in spirit and in truth. This was a more profound practice and entry into worshiping God that enabled people to be closer and more intimate with the heart of God. If the Lord had not personally led His disciples to leave the Sabbath day behind them, then no one would have been able to move beyond the constraints of the laws. Only by God Himself continually doing new work were people able to have a new path of practice and obtain liberation and freedom of the spirit. From God’s work, we can see that God is the true and the living God, and that with God there are no rules and no taboos. God is not limited by laws or rules when He performs a new work, and He does not cling to old work. God is ever new and never old, and is always leading man into a newer, higher realm. When God performed His new work, He did not cling at all to old rules or practices; He worked amongst man in an entirely new way, thus enabling them to have a newer path of practice and, ultimately, He saved people from the laws and allowed them to live before Him in freedom and liberation, and to attain His salvation.”

After listening to Co-worker Xue’s fellowship, I said in excitement: “My heart is so clear now! God’s work is very practical and He does not cling to old ways of doing things at all. He always performs new work according to our needs, He shows us new paths of practice, and He enables us to better come before Him to worship Him and to enjoy His blessings. If God hadn’t done a new work and guided man away from the Sabbath day, people would have been constantly bound by the laws; they would have worshiped God in rules and rituals and would even have been condemned and punished for violating the laws. God really loves us so much!”

Co-worker Xue nodded her head, and said happily, “Yes indeed. Every single thing God does has a profound meaning, and they are all filled with the love God has for us mankind! Therefore, when God performs a new work, whether God’s work tallies with our misconceptions and imaginings or not, or whether we understand it or not, we should always seek God’s will and try to know His work with a heart that reveres Him, for only in this way can we follow closely God’s footsteps and attain His salvation. If we are arrogant and conceited, and we do not seek or know God’s new work, then we will be apt to rebel against God and resist God, and we will lose God’s salvation—the consequences don’t bear thinking about! The chief priests, scribes and Pharisees back then, for example, saw clearly that the words and work of the Lord Jesus possessed authority and power, but they did not seek the truth with an open mind, nor did they know God’s work. Instead, they clung tightly to laws and rules, and they used them to condemn the Lord Jesus’ work and words as having gone beyond the Old Testament, and they judged the Lord Jesus to have violated the laws by not keeping the Sabbath day. And they compared the Lord Jesus’ work with the work of Jehovah at every turn, and so long as they failed to tally with their own misconceptions and imaginings, they condemned, judged and even blasphemed the Lord Jesus. In the end, they collaborated with the Roman authorities to crucify the Lord Jesus upon the cross, and thus they were cursed and punished by God. The lesson of the Pharisees’ failure serves as a warning to us that, no matter where God appears or in what way He works, we cannot rely on our misconceptions and imaginings and use God’s previous work to delimit His new work. The wisdom of God is so wondrous and unfathomable; no matter what God does, He does it to better be able to save mankind, and behind it all lies God’s will and His painstaking efforts. We—corrupt mankind—cannot possibly fathom God’s work. All we can do is seek and accept God’s work with a heart of reverence, for only in this way will we be able to win God’s approval and blessing.”

I nodded my head, and said to Co-worker Xue, “Yes! God is so wise, so almighty, how can we humans possibly fathom His work? Just like it says in the Bible: ‘O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who has known the mind of the Lord? or who has been his counselor?’ (Romans 11:33–34). In our approach to God’s new work, we must seek and study it more with a heart that reveres God, and only then will we be able to attain God’s salvation! Thank the Lord! Today’s fellowship has really done me a lot of good!”

“Thank the Lord!”
