Introduction

Since it came to power in mainland China in 1949, the Chinese Communist Party has been relentless in its persecution of religious faith. It has frantically arrested and murdered Christians, expelled and abused missionaries operating in China, confiscated and destroyed countless copies of the Bible, sealed up and demolished church buildings, and vainly attempted to eradicate all house churches.

This documentary is a recounting of the true experience of persecution at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party suffered by Chen Wenzhong, a Chinese Christian. Chen Wenzhong was successful in his career and had a beautiful and happy family, but because he believed in God and performed his duty, he became wanted by the CCP. He was forced to leave home and was on the run for over ten years. In order to learn of his whereabouts, the CCP police constantly monitored, threatened, and intimidated his family, and wouldn't even spare his young son, Xiaoyu. In the end, they forced Xiaoyu onto the path of no return.

Almighty God, Eastern Lightning, Christ of the last days is the returned Christ of the last days. Later on, she focuses on pursuing the truth and soundly fulfilling her duties, and no longer relies on Satan's toxins to live, but rather lives by practicing the truth and relying on God's word. Gradually, she escapes the bondage of fame and status, and her soul finally gains freedom and release.
