As predicted by relevant experts, two supermoons will appear successively on 19th February and 21st March 2019, being two fantastic astronomical sights that follow on from the “super blood wolf moon” which appeared on 21st January. Rare Supermoons
Many prophets have prophesied that the appearance of blood moons signify extraordinary and great events to come. There are also many Bible experts who firmly believe that the appearance of blood moons are the fulfillment of the prophecy in the Book of Joel 2:29–31: “And also on the servants and on the handmaids in those days will I pour out My Spirit. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of Jehovah comes.” Also, in Revelation 6:12, it states: “And I beheld when He had opened the sixth seal, and, see, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.” “The great and terrible day” mentioned in the prophecy in the Book of Joel refers to the great disasters. We have all seen disasters growing in scale over the past few years, with frequent occurrences of such disasters as earthquakes, famines, plagues and floods which are horrifying for us to witness; the world situation is in turmoil and constantly changing, there are frequent eruptions of wars, violent incidents and terrorist attacks which continue to escalate; the world’s atmosphere is getting warmer, and extreme weathers and all kinds of astronomical wonders are occurring all the time. As Christians, then, how should we view these disasters? What does God want to inspire in us by means of these disasters? What work will God perform before the great disasters arrive? It says in Joel 2:29: “And also on the servants and on the handmaids in those days will I pour out My Spirit.” According to this prophecy, before the great disasters come, God’s Spirit shall speak His words to water His servants and handmaids. It is prophesied in many places in chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation: “He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” And in Revelation 7:14: “These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” And in Revelation 14:4: “These are they which follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.” And in Revelation 2:7, it states: “To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the middle of the paradise of God.” From these prophecies, we can see that God will perform a new stage of work in the last days, which is that He shall express His words and make a group of overcomers before the disasters. These people shall be the first fruits, and they shall be those who serve God and those whom He leads into His kingdom at the end.
God’s words have uncovered this mystery and told us what work God shall perform before the disasters come. Let’s read together some passages of classic words expressed by God:

Pastor Feng (A Three-Self pastor): Sister Jiang, your reception of the correct path in believing in God is very good. It is consistent with the word of the Lord Jesus. I totally agree without dissent. But just now, you witness that the Lord Jesus has returned, that is, the incarnate Almighty God. This is what I don’t understand. You also know that over the years, the Communist Party has been frantically convicting, suppressing, and arresting you. Most pastors and elders of the religious community have also condemned Eastern Lightning. If Almighty God is indeed the Lord Jesus who has returned, the CCP’s condemnation and opposition are inevitable, but why did the resistance and condemnation of the religious community occur? If it is really the Lord who has returned, He should have first appeared to the religious pastors and elders, so these pastors and elders would be the first to be raptured. But this is not the case now. Not only is the CCP frantically suppressing and arresting Eastern Lightning, even most pastors and elders of the religious community are resisting and condemning. What is the problem here? Can you explain it to me?
Jiang Xinyi (A Christian): Pastor Feng, you question God’s appearance and work in the last days because of many pastors and elders of the religious community’s resistance and condemnation of Almighty God. This is normal. Recalling when the Lord Jesus appeared to work, not only did the Roman dictatorship resist and convict Him, Judaism even more frantically condemned and resisted the Lord Jesus. Does it mean that the Lord Jesus was not the appearance of God? Are you sure that whatever is condemned by the pastors and elders of the religious community is not the true way? Going by your point of view that whatever is resisted and condemned by the religious community is not God’s appearance and work, may I ask if the Lord Jesus was God’s appearance? Were the word and work of the Lord Jesus the appearance and work of God? Since the leaders of Judaism had resisted and condemned the Lord Jesus so much, what is the basis of your belief in the Lord Jesus? Pastor Feng, you are familiar with the Bible. May I ask why did the Lord Jesus curse the Pharisees? Whom did the Pharisees represent? Did the Pharisees represent the religious leaders? The Book of Revelation predicted the destruction of the religious community. What did it mean? It indicates that the religious leaders are resistant to God. They all deny and resist Christ and act against God. Don’t you admit that this is the fact? Why is the religious community so deserted and devoid of the Holy Spirit’s work? This is enough to show that God hates and curses the religious community. God wants the chosen people who really belong to Him to come out of religion, to come out to God from the city of Babylon. This is the intention of God. If you do not believe it, take a look at the prophecy of Revelation, see how the Lord Jesus cursed the Pharisees, then you will understand everything.

Those who believe in the Lord know that the Lord Jesus’ return is His resurrected spiritual body descending with the clouds for all eyes to see. To date, we haven’t seen the Lord Jesus descend with the clouds. So I’m certain that the Lord has not yet returned. Sister Jiang, I do not understand. Why do you witness that Almighty God is the Lord Jesus who has returned? How can you be sure that God will be incarnated as the Son of man to appear and work in the last days? Can you tell me?
Jiang Xinyi: Pastor Feng, you often teach the Bible to others, you should understand the Bible more than me. But my belief in Almighty God was established upon study and examination. I have read many words of Almighty God and found that all His words are truth that has unveiled all the mysteries of the Bible. I am sure that the expression of Almighty God is the voice of God. My acceptance of Almighty God is based on the prophecies of the Lord Jesus: “For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation” (Luke 17:24-25). “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” This clearly indicates that in the last days, the Lord will return as the Son of man in the flesh, and still speak to man. When man hears the voice of God, he will have greeted the Lord. The appearance and work of Almighty God fulfills the prophecies of the Lord Jesus. The word of the Lord is very clear that He will return as the Son of man in the last days. Since He said it is the Son of man, it refers to a man of human birth with normal humanity, which means the incarnation of God. If it were the spiritual body of the resurrected Lord Jesus, it could not be called the Son of man because the spiritual body of the resurrected Lord Jesus can fade in and out and penetrate walls. It is not subject to the constraints of space and geography. It is not human flesh with normal humanity. Pastor Feng, am I right in what I say? It is because the Lord has returned in the flesh as the Son of man, just as the Lord Jesus in the past, whose appearance is that of an ordinary, normal person, people resist, condemn and reject Him because they don’t realize that He is God. If the Lord were to return in a spiritual body with the clouds, that would certainly be a magnificent sign to behold. People would all prostrate on sight. How would the Lord “suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation”? Wouldn’t the prophecy of the Lord Jesus have fallen short? So the Lord’s return as the Son of man in the flesh in the last days is certain. How would you receive it, Pastor Feng?
Pastor Feng: Your reception is justified and also in line with the Bible. As for equating the ability to express the truth with the appearance and work of God, I cannot accept it. If one has the revelation of God, isn’t he able to express the truth too? The prophets are able to express God’s word, does it make them God’s appearance? Sister Jiang, you have to be careful when accepting God’s appearance and work because it is said in the Bible: “said in the Bible: “Then if any man shall say to you, See, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matthew 24:23-24). The word of the Lord is very clear that in the last days, there are false Christs and false prophets who deceive people. So we cannot easily believe anyone who witnesses the Lord’s return in the flesh. Don’t you agree? Can you guarantee that you have not been deceived?
Jiang Xinyi: Pastor Feng, listening to your words, you are wary of being deceived so you dare not easily accept the word and work of God in the last days. Many people also advised me to be cautious when I was studying the true way. They let me read the scripture you just quoted. But this passage only tells us to take caution and avoid being deceived. It does not refute the Lord’s return in the last days as the Son of man in the flesh. Nor does it prove that Christ will not appear to work in the last days because the Lord Jesus clearly stated, “I come quickly.” If we interpreted this passage as Christ will not appear to work in the last days, and only the false Christs and false prophets will be deceiving people, it would be a big mistake. Pastor Feng, you should also know in the years before and after God appeared to work in the flesh in the last days, false Christs and false prophets have appeared to deceive people in every nation. Under these circumstances, how can we determine that it is God’s appearance and work? How do we distinguish the false Christs? The words of the Lord Jesus are very clear: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6). “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:20). “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truthsince we are searching for the footprints of God, we must search for God’s will, for the words of God, for the utterances of God—for where there are the new words of God, there is the voice of God, and where there are the footsteps of God, there are the deeds of God. Where there is the expression of God, there is the appearance of God, and where there is the appearance of God, there exists the truth, the way, and the life” (The Word Appears in the Flesh). It was when I saw all the words expressed by Almighty God are the truth and the voice of God that I accepted Almighty God. Had it not been for God, who could have expressed so many truths? That was enough to prove that it was the appearance of God in the flesh to man because corrupt mankind does not have the truth. Even the ancient saints, and those saved by God were incapable of expressing the truth. It is impossible for believers of God to express the truth no matter how hard they study the Bible. The evil spirit Satan can perform miracles and wonders, but it cannot express the truth. Although a prophet can speak the words of God, he is only conveying the words of God. The words he conveys are very limited. Without God’s instructions, his function will cease. He himself has no truth. Nor can he perform God’s work. He can only do his duty as a man. Therefore, it must be certain in seeking the Lord’s appearance and work that only Christ is the truth, the way and the life. Only He who can express the truth is the appearance of God at work. Without being able to express the truth, however great the miracles and wonders he performs, he is not the appearance of God. I have pondered over these things for a long time. I finally determined that since Almighty God can express so many truths, He is certainly the appearance of God. Pastor Feng, is there anything wrong with how I accepted it?
Pastor Feng: Sister Jiang, listening to what you said, I see that you are really a thoughtful and assertive person. Now I believe that you’re not foolishly deceived into believing in Almighty God. You haven’t believed in the Lord for long, but you understand the Bible so thoroughly. I admire you for it! It seems that the truth can indeed be found in the word expressed by Almighty God. Let me ask you then, how do you explain the May 28 Zhaoyuan case of Shandong that has shocked the country and the world? This case was heard in open court after all! After the occurrence of the Zhaoyuan case of Shandong, the government has stepped up its crackdown on house churches, even using the armed police forces to crack down on The Church of Almighty God by conducting overwhelming carpet search-and-arrest of The Church of Almighty God members. Although people have raised numerous doubts about the Zhaoyuan case of Shandong, believing it was a false case fabricated by the CCP to generate public opinions to support its crackdown on The Church of Almighty God, the Chinese media have publicly reported the case regardless of whether the facts are true or false. This has generated some impacts in various countries in the world. No matter how you deny the Zhaoyuan case of Shandong, many people still believe the Communist Party. So I want to hear what you think of the Zhaoyuan case of Shandong.
Zheng Yi (A Christian): Dad, how long can the CCP fool the world with this Zhaoyuan case of Shandong that it has singlehandedly concocted? Can it save the CCP’s inevitable fate of demise? The Zhaoyuan case of Shandong had considerable impacts domestically and internationally at that time. It also deceived a lot of ignorant people. But can dark clouds permanently block the sun? Can a crow’s wings block the sun’s glory? Concealment and deception are impermanent. Lies are always lies, they will never become the truth. When the Zhaoyuan case of Shandong was tried in the CCP court, the defendants clearly stated in court, “I never had contact with The Church of Almighty God.” “What the state cracks down on is the ‘Almighty God’ that Zhao Weishan believes in, not the ‘Almighty God’ that we believe in.” Even the defendants themselves did not admit that they belonged to The Church of Almighty God, and the Church did not know them. Why didn’t the CCP judge go by the facts? In the absence of evidence, why did the judge insist on attributing these suspects to The Church of Almighty God? Wasn’t this the plot of a frame-up? Wasn’t this falsification and deception? Now no one believes the reports of the CCP media and the CCP’s lies anymore. Dad, you have worked in the Communist system for so many years, you certainly see these things better than I do. Do you really believe that the Zhaoyuan Case of Shandong will help the CCP stay in power?
Zheng Rui (A Christian): Dad, having been a reporter for several years, I totally understand all these things. Every time before violently suppressing religious beliefs, democratic rights movements, ethnic protests, etc., the CCP fabricates a false case and wantonly creates public opinions to incite the mass, followed by a bloody crackdown. Take the June Fourth student movement, that started out advocating integrity against corruption, democracy and freedom. Then the CCP instructed some unidentified people to act as students and infiltrate the group to fight, smash, burn, overturn military vehicles, and create chaos. This branded the student movement as “counter-revolutionary,” intent on inciting riots, and gave the CCP the excuse they needed to repress the group. The CCP then launched a bloody crackdown on these students. At least a few thousand students were shot and rolled over by tanks. This was how the CCP staged the bloody Tiananmen Incident that chilled the Chinese people and shocked the world! It’s also how the CCP suppressed the mass protests in Tibet. The CCP government inserted people in the protesting crowd to deliberately commit arson, killing, robbery and looting. It then mobilized the army to massacre the protesting crowds under the pretext of quelling the Tibetan insurrection. These facts are enough to prove that starting by making up lies, distorting facts and framing, followed by violent suppression are the CCP’s usual means to eradicate dissension. The Zhaoyuan case in Shandong formed the basis for the public sentiment that allowed the CCP’s brutal suppression and persecution of The Church of Almighty God. It is another major crime of religious persecution by the CCP. Dad, you are an official within the CCP system, you should know better than us about the modus operandi of the CCP!
Mu Xinping (Zheng Weiguo’s wife): Oh, I’ve lived with the communist for so many years, I am crystal clear about what the CCP is. Despite the CCP officials’ grandiose appearance, what they do behind the scenes are all bad deeds and business deals. Needless to say about the Zhaoyuan case, there is no fairness in all the cases tried by the Communist courts. Transactions and bribery are behind all the cases. There are political motivations behind all the cases involving religions and ethnic minorities. What happened after the commotions of the June Fourth Incident of 1989 caused by those angry youth? Hadn’t they all been quelled? Some of them were killed, wounded and jailed while others fled overseas. Who was able to fight against the CCP? Even if the Zhaoyuan case was a case of injustice and falsehood, then what? Too many unjust and false cases have been created by the CCP, many of which are known by the people. But who can solve the problem? Who can do anything about the CCP? Do you know what the CCP believes in? The CCP is a revolutionary party. What it believes in is mendacity and violence, that is, seizing power with violence! The market of qualified employment candidates is so overcrowded you can’t gain a foothold, so the difficulty of finding employment after graduation has become a very practical problem. For every young person on the cusp of entering society after school, the most headache-inducing issue that they have to face is finding work, particularly at a good company. Everyone puts on their best face and racks their brains trying to squeeze their way in—the competition and pressure are intense. I, approaching graduation, had no choice but to face the plight of finding a job just like everybody else. Tossing Resumes to the Wind, the Arduous Path of a Job-Seeker
As recruitment banners from all sorts of major companies began appearing and all kinds of recruitment ads were put up all over campus, students all crowded in front of the advertising board with the intention of reading every single recruitment notice. Work locations, salary, and recruitment conditions were our primary daily topics of conversation. The atmosphere on campus became very tense; the students were just like soldiers preparing for war, wanting to find a position to their liking. We were all rolling up our sleeves, preparing for action.
One day, a top student who was in my dorm came back once again, dejected with her head hanging, and said listlessly: “It’s hopeless, again. Every company says to wait for news from them, but as soon as I leave I’m like another grain of sand on the beach.” In spite of myself, her words made my heart clench, and I thought: “Even for someone like her, the best student in our dorm, finding a job is this hard. What am I going to do?” She then went on to say: “Having a record of my grades is no use at all. Recruitment agencies aren’t looking at all of that. They look at how good-looking you are, how you carry yourself. If your external image isn’t good, you’re just wasting your breath.” This time her words really startled me: “It’s true! Society is very superficial now, so you either have to look good from the outside or have a way in through your family. Bookworms like her who are short, not that good-looking, and don’t have a nice demeanor, no matter how well they’ve done in school, they’re just making everyone else look better. I’m just like her—short, average-looking, and definitely fade into the background. How am I going to face looking for a job?” Thinking of all this, I started to fret over finding a job.
Over that period of time, some recruitment agencies came to our school, and I went along with some of my classmates to talk to them. As soon as we stepped into the school auditorium it truly was an ocean of people. There were long lines in front of each recruiter’s table, and job-seekers were all eagerly crowding forward, intent on getting their resume into the recruiter’s hands first. However, I heard that successfully signed contracts were few and far between. Beautifully designed resumes with photographs affixed to the front piled up on the floor, scattered everywhere, some even with footprints on them. I felt pang after pang of sadness over this, and I couldn’t help but let out a long sigh: “Who says going to college will guarantee you a good future? Even finding a job is an almost impossible task!” Students were rejected one after another, chipping away at their confidence. Some even gave up in despair and said helplessly: “Whatever, it looks hopeless. I’ll just sign anything and be done with it.” Seeing my classmates lose their confidence one by one, my heart climbed up into my throat. I thought of a company I had been interested in with flexible work times that wouldn’t interfere with attending gatherings—everything was a good fit. I had prayed to God and left the issue in His hands to allow Him to arrange this matter—but later that company still hadn’t sent out recruiters. I couldn’t help but become anxious. I thought: “Why hasn’t that company come out to recruit yet? If they don’t come and I keep on like this, I won’t get a job anywhere else. Won’t that delay my future prospects?”
Anxiously Awaiting, Why Not Leave It in God’s Hands?
When my classmates saw that I wasn’t looking at other companies, they all told me: “You’re waiting around for nothing. It’s not certain if that company is going to come recruit at the school this year. If they don’t come, you won’t even have a chance at a job. What will you do then? Your hands will be tied!” I couldn’t help but feel concerned, hearing them say this. I thought: “They’re right! If that company really doesn’t come, once these companies are done recruiting, it really will have been in vain. I’ve spent four years in college. If I have to pack my bags and go back to my hometown after all this, how could I face all my family and friends who have placed such great hopes in me?” But I once again turned my thoughts to God, always keeping in mind that God will prepare something for me. I thought and I thought, and I still decided to wait. But waiting made the days really drag by. I heard a few rumors that that company wasn’t coming to recruit at my school that year, and every time it really agitated me. I was constantly concerned for my future and my confidence in God was shrinking. One time, a family member called me to ask about my job hunt and I explained my situation to him. He asked me: “Do you have a second-level certificate for computer?” “I didn’t test for it.” He then asked: “Do you hold some office in your school?” “No.” “Are you a Party member?” “No.” Hearing this, he said: “Don’t even think about that company coming or not. Without any of those things, it’ll be hard for you to get a position anywhere!” His words were like a bucket of cold water dumped over me, soaking me from head to foot. My heart was thoroughly chilled. I thought: “It would be great if I had successfully tested for those certifications! If I had participated in those school activities more proactively, wouldn’t my chances of finding work be greater?” But it then occurred to me, “But the top student in my dorm has all sorts of certifications and isn’t it just as hard for her to find work? They don’t play a decisive role either.” I felt much calmer after thinking about that.
Day after day passed and the number of recruiting agencies dwindled. I was unbearably anxious but there was nothing I could do. I could only come in front of God and pray: “Oh God! I’m really suffering now and I can’t figure out what I should do about this issue of looking for a job. I’m afraid of losing my future prospects and of gaining nothing, ultimately becoming a laughingstock of my classmates. What should I do? God, please guide me.” After praying, I got out a notebook that I frequently wrote God’s words in and flipped through it. I stumbled upon a song praising God written by David: “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up on a rock. And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD. … When you said, Seek you my face; my heart said to you, Your face, LORD, will I seek. … Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of my enemies. Deliver me not over to the will of my enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD” (Psm 27:4-6, 8, 11-14). Seeing the words at the end, “wait, I say, on the LORD,” my heart was drawn to them. I continued reading: “That which My light shines upon, you must rely on Me to cast it away, live by Me always, be close to Me, and your actions must reveal My likeness. You shall fellowship with Me more when you are unsure of what to do, and I will guide you toward the right actions so that you may move forward. If you are unsure, do not take arbitrary actions; just wait for My time” (“The Twenty-ninth Utterance” of Utterances and Testimonies of Christ in the Beginning in The Word Appears in the Flesh). “You truly lack faith in My presence and often rely on yourselves to do things. ‘You can’t do anything without Me!’ But you corrupt people are always taking My words into one ear and out the other. Life nowadays is a life of words; without words there is no life, there is no experience, not to mention that there is no faith. Faith is in words; only by throwing yourselves more into God’s words can you have everything. Don’t worry about not growing up; life comes through growth, not through worrying.” “You are always apt to become anxious and don’t listen to My instructions. You always want to exceed My pace. What is that about? It is people’s wild ambitions. … Blind men! Why don’t you come to My presence more and seek? Why are you just acting blindly? You must see clearly! It is certainly not a person who is working now, but rather it is the Ruler of all, the one true God—the Almighty!” (“The Thirty-seventh Utterance” of Utterances and Testimonies of Christ in the Beginning in The Word Appears in the Flesh).
After reading God’s words I suddenly felt my heart brighten. I thought: It’s true! Aren’t I an arbitrary person who is blind and foolish, trying to rely on myself? Even though I had left the issue of work in God’s hands for Him to decide, when the matter wasn’t settled I lost confidence in God and still didn’t wait for God to arrange circumstances for me or have an attitude of seeking and obedience. Instead, I fretted over my own future and fate. Faced with the facts, I finally saw that my understanding of God’s almightiness and rule was just a slogan, was just doctrine, but my actual faith in God was truly paltry and could not stand the test of time at all, nor could it hold firm when God arranged the proper circumstances. I thought of David writing the song in praise of Jehovah God; it was because he had seen so many of God’s deeds and had a true understanding of God’s almightiness and rule. So no matter what sort of hardships he encountered, he was able to genuinely lean on God, believing that God was faithful and would certainly guide him. Pondering all of this, my heart suddenly brightened: So, God actually carefully arranged all of this for me in order to perfect my faith and obedience for Him. What I need to do at this time is to exalt God as great in my heart, to set aside my own worries and concerns, and to experience God’s work and words within this environment, waiting for His will to become evident. I then came in front of God and prayed: “Oh God! Although I said with my mouth that I was putting the issue of work in Your hands, yet as I saw the hope of finding work growing fainter and fainter, I just wanted to do it on my own and I no longer believed in Your almightiness and rule. Oh God, my faith in You truly is so small! Now I understand Your will, and I will no longer rely on myself when doing things. I will no longer live within my worries and concerns, allowing Satan to toy with me. I only want to hand everything over to You and wait for Your time. I believe that everything You prepare for me will be the best.”
I Will Never Fathom God’s Deeds
Around midday three days, later my phone rang. It was an acquaintance from the Office of Academic Affairs, who said to me anxiously: “You better hurry up and get yourself out there. The leader from that company you’ve just been waiting for has come recruit and they’ll probably be away tonight. Hurry up and get out there.” This wonderful, unexpected surprise was very exciting for me and I simply didn’t dare believe that the company I had been waiting and hoping for, was suddenly coming three days after my prayer. Just then a passage from God’s words surfaced in my mind: “Any and all things, living or dead, will shift, change, renew, and disappear according to God’s thoughts. This is how God rules over all things” (“God Is the Source of Man’s Life” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). I felt amazed at how marvelous God is while quickly putting on a suit, grabbing my resume, and rushing to the recruitment center. The whole way there my mind was full of thoughts on what they would ask me and how I should answer. The more I thought the more nervous I got, so I quickly prayed to God, asking Him to calm me down. When I got there I saw a group of students outside who had gathered there some time ago. It seemed I was the last to receive the news. I went to the end of the line and watched one classmate after another go talk to the company leader, and they were all tactfully dismissed. They said they weren’t looking for female candidates, or they didn’t want anyone trying to test into graduate school—there were many reasons given for the rejection. My turn finally came. I very cautiously handed my resume to the leader—it was the very first resume I had handed over since the recruitment drive had begun, and it was the first one I had even printed. He looked it over and asked me if I had brought a copy of an employment agreement. I had. Unexpectedly, he didn’t ask me anything at all, but just said casually: “Sign it.” I didn’t dare believe my ears; it was just like being in a dream. When I finished signing it I felt like I was in a trance. Was I grateful, was I happy, was I excited? It was difficult to describe with words; all I could do was give my thanks and praise to God nonstop. I praised God and I praised Him more. Not only for getting a stable job, but even more because by going through that process, I had seen God’s wondrous ways and that all things and all events are under God’s rule and arrangements. Human thoughts and ideas are even more within His hands. God arranged the work for me, so no matter how high or how rigorous people thought recruitment conditions were, they could not change God’s rule or what He has determined. God’s words sprung to mind: “Without God’s work, no matter how good man’s doing, it will count for nothing, for the thoughts of God shall always be higher than the thoughts of man, and the wisdom of God is unfathomable to man” (“Only He Who Experiences the Work of God Truly Believes in God” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). This experience provided me with profound personal experience of these words from God.
This job-seeking experience allowed me to genuinely see that God’s marvelousness and unfathomableness completely exceeds my imagination. Although those days of waiting felt long and arduous, after undergoing them they became a precious treasure in my life. My faith in God was too small, so He wanted to perfect my faith through the process of waiting to have me learn to give my true heart to God, to obey His rule and arrangements in all things. Thinking of it now, I sincerely feel that no matter how long that wait was, it would have been worth it because God reveals His deeds in His own time, letting me see that His actions are everywhere, that He is the most trustworthy, most practical One who is worth a lifelong faith and dependence!
